SchoolPool For Schools
RideFinders requires schools and school districts to enroll in the SchoolPool program – for FREE – to ensure the security and success of the program for their schools, parents and students. Here’s how to enroll in the program:
1.
A school administrator contacts RideFinders at (800) 847-7433 or
ridefinders@mct.org
to schedule a brief meeting to review the SchoolPool program.
2.
Schools then voluntarily enroll in the program at no cost and assign an on-site contact at each school called the SchoolPool Coordinator (SPC).
3.
RideFinders and the SPC next create a secure pass code that parents are required to obtain to find a SchoolPool using the secure, online SchoolPool ridematching service.
4.
RideFinders provides the SPC with free information and incentives to encourage parents to SchoolPool as well as help their staff carpool to work.

There are several features built into the SchoolPool program to ensure the security of the parents and students that participate:
Schools create a unique school pass code to give only to eligible parents upon request.

Secure ridematching service is separate from RideFinders commuter ridematching service.
Parents can keep their phone numbers private, and their street addresses are always private.
