Join a Vanpool

With nearly 100 RideFinders vanpools commuting to and from work in the St. Louis region, there may be an existing vanpool for you to join. Here’s how to find a seat in an existing vanpool:

Vanpool

1.	Find a ride in a vanpool by registering with RideFinders free ridematching service.
2.	Upon registration, obtain a “matchlist” of existing vanpools with commutes like yours. If there are no vanpools on your matchlist, return to Step 1 to log-in to the ridematching service to modify your registration and obtain a new matchlist
3.	Contact the primary drivers on your matchlist to discuss joining the vanpool as a rider: Timing: What time does the vanpool leave for work and for home each day? Locations: Where does the vanpool meet, pick-up and drop-off each day? Fares: How much will it cost to ride in the vanpool? Vanpool riders pay an equal monthly fare that covers the monthly fixed lease and variable fuel costs.
4.	If you join a vanpool, the primary driver will provide you with a rider agreement to submit.
5.	Once RideFinders receives and approves the rider agreement, you are allowed to ride.
6.	Vanpool riders then receive the free Guaranteed Ride Home and other vanpool benefits.
7.	If you are unable to join a vanpool, return to Step 1 to log-in to RideFinders free ridematching service to modify your registration and obtain a new matchlist.
