RideFinders is the St. Louis regional rideshare program created by Madison County Transit in
1994 to improve air quality by reducing traffic congestion.
Madison County Transit operates RideFinders as a free public service for commuters working for
employers or attending colleges in St. Louis City and St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson and
Franklin Counties in Missouri; and Madison, St. Clair, Jersey and Monroe Counties in Illinois through
funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration.
