RideFinders Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) provides carpoolers with taxi rides home if they have to stay late at or leave early from work or college - guaranteeing peace of mind. Here is how the GRH works:
1.
Commuters find a ride in a carpool using RideFinders free ridematching service.
2.
Once commuters form a carpool, they submit a free RideFinders carpool registration.
3.
RideFinders verifies that the carpoolers' employers participate in the program.
- If the employer participates, that carpooler is eligible for the GRH
(Go to Step 4).
- If the employer does NOT participate, RideFinders contacts the employer.
4.
Eligible carpoolers receive a Welcome Letter with the onsite contact or “ETC” listed.
5.
Carpoolers contact the ETC when they need a GRH, which MUST meet these criteria:
- Reasons: Unscheduled overtime, illness, school release, emergency, driver absence.
- Origin: One-way from work to home, school, medical provider, or parking lot/facility.
- Number: Maximum of 4 GRH per carpooler per year renewing annually on Jan. 1.
- Fares: Maximum fare paid per GRH is $60. Commuters pay excess fare and gratuity.
6.
ETCs go to the ETC Log-In page to issue the GRH for the eligible carpooler.
